SilverServe is SunServe’s dedicated program for LGBTQ+ seniors, offering compassionate, affirming support to help older adults live with dignity, confidence, and connection. Whether you need help navigating services or are looking for community, we’re here for you.

What We Offer

SilverServe provides both personalized support and social opportunities tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQ+ seniors.

Senior Case Management

Personalized assessments and care plans. Help accessing healthcare and aging services. Coordination with caregivers, family, and other professionals. Ongoing advocacy and check-ins to ensure needs are being met. Mental health support and referrals

Social Events & Programs

Monthly SilverServe Luncheon to share a meal and connect with peers. Group activities and field trips to support physical, emotional, and cognitive wellness. Interactive Workshops on wellness, self-care, and aging. Community-building support to help foster lasting friendships and community involvement.

EHEAP (Florida Power & Light) Program Assistance

The Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program for the Elderly (EHEAP), a 100% federally funded program, helps eligible seniors pay energy bills in an emergency. Qualifying households are eligible for assistance with multiple energy bills. This is in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging in Broward County.

Whether you’re looking for case management or social activities, we’re here to help you.

  • SilverServe is open to LGBTQ+ adults aged 60 and over.
  • EHEAP Services are available for adults 60 and up who are experiencing a home energy crisis.

There is no formal intake required for most services. Just call or email, and we’ll take it from there.
